Las Torres Patagonia had an outstanding participation in one of Europe’s most important tourism fairs, ITB Berlin 2023. The objective of this action was to promote their tourism offer in Europe and their commitment to sustainability.
Las Torres Patagonia had a prominent presence at the ITB Berlin 2023 tourism fair. With a Business to Business commercial approach, they focused on supplier and exhibitor companies in the trade, professional visitors, and buyers.
During the event, Las Torres Patagonia presented their tourism proposal, which stands out for the privileged location of the Hotel Las Torres in Torres del Paine, the Estancia Cerro Negro, trekking circuits, and other unique excursions in Patagonia. In addition, business contacts were established as a result of meetings and business agreements.
Moreover, for the first time, Las Torres Patagonia was invited to lead a talk in the fair’s auditorium and presented the lecture: “Empowering travelers by eliminating unsustainable choices”.
During the event, Las Torres Patagonia showcased their impressive conservation and sustainability projects. Juan Lopez, the Sales and Marketing Director of Reserva Las Torres, presented on a range of initiatives, including their holistic management approach, EOV certification, sustainable cocktail program, eco-friendly trail to the Base Torres viewpoint, recycling and reforestation efforts, and regenerative organic garden. These projects serve as a testament to Las Torres Patagonia’s commitment to environmental stewardship and responsible tourism practices.
He also stated: “I believe that our participation in the auditorium represented a valuable opportunity to inspire other actors in the tourism industry to adopt more sustainable practices and thus contribute together to the protection of the environment, in such a wonderful territory as the 8th Wonder of the World.”
In this sense, the balance of this commercial action by Las Torres Patagonia was highly positive. At ITB 2023, it was reaffirmed the commitment to becoming a world reference in sustainable tourism and conservation in Torres del Paine.
